Hey guys!

As week 4 comes to a close we are starting to see improvement in consistency from our players! We battled through the weather and the wind, and our players all rose to the challenge and played very well!

We structured our session using rotating stations, focusing on the consistency and placement of the fundamental strokes--the forehand, backhand, and volley. The students learned how to hit the ball cross court and down the line to effectively move their opponents. They also learned how to control their rallies with a partner. We mainly worked on a series of drills, but we had some fun playing a group game of Alligator too!😄.

Overall, we are seeing improvement within all of our players, and their consistency will definitely increase through practice at home. Students can do forehand and volley-to-volley rallying on a wall at home or at a court.

I am very excited to see what the rest of the session brings!
