Week 1: Let the Games Begin

Welcome to our first blog post of the Spring Season!

In this blog, Sid and I will be sharing the highlights each session as the players progress their game through the next 10 weeks. We hope you'll join us in reading and liking each post!

We had a great first session this Saturday! Even through the wind and cold, everyone was showing 100% of their energy, running for every ball and concentrating on every shot.

The intermediates refreshed their forehand and volley technique through some fast-paced drills. Towards the end, they played some competitive king-of-the-court and volley rallies! The beginners focused on the fundamentals--court position, forehand, and volley technique--with a few challenges and games mixed in.

Over the next couple weeks, we're looking to build good foundational strokes, especially the forehand and backhand, so that we can begin some more intense drills, games, and matchplay. Our goal for the end of the season is for the students to be able to create a consistent rally with each other, and look and feel like tennis pros!🎾
